Feasibility and Potential Evaluation of CO2 Flooding and Storage in China Offshore Depleted Oilfields
摘要
China’s southeast coastal area, with its highly developed industry & agriculture and dense population, is the main greenhouse gas emission area, and the pressure of emission reduction is becoming increasingly severe. However, the onshore CO2 sequestration potential there is limited. The feasibility of CO2-EOR & storage in offshore depleted oilfields was investigated in this study. Firstly, the mechanism and advantage of CO2 sequestration in offshore depleted oilfields were analyzed; then, through a detailed literature review, the worldwide typical pilot cases experiences were summarized in terms of the implementation strategies, key technologies and implementation results. Finally, the feasibility of CO2 EOR & storage in offshore depleted oilfield W was evaluated, and the potential and implementation strategy of offshore CO2 storage were planned. Above research could provide valuable technical support for the research of offshore carbon neutralization and EOR.
