The Development and Laboratory Evaluation of Biodiesel Lubricant BD-1 for Drilling Fluid

摘要

In order to develop efficient, low-fluorescence, biodegradable lubricant for water based drilling fluid, biodiesel is used to compound BD-1 lubricant. Lubrication mechanism is analysed in the process of drilling. The formula of compounded lubricant BD-1 is got by optimizing experiment of emulsifier, extreme-pressure lubricant, and solid lubricant. Laboratory evaluation results show that BD-1 lubricant is of no flsorescence, good lubricity in base mud and weighted drilling fluid, salt resistance, compatibility with drilling fluid, heat resistance and biodegradability. BD-1 lubricant is up to the requirement of Q/SY17088-2016. The decreasing rate of extreme pressure lubricating factor is above 90%, which is as low as 0.02 when 2%BD-1 is under the condition of 160 ℃.
