Study on Influence Factors of Sealing Pipe Thread Connection

摘要

With the development of scientific and technological innovation, pipe threads are more and more widely used in industry, especially in the field of hydraulic manifolds. This paper introduces the structure form of sealing pipe thread connection, the application of relevant internationalization standards. Aiming at the phenomenon of pipe thread connection failure and leakage in actual production, numerical modeling and finite element stress analysis are carried out from the three main factors of thread tooth type, thread taper and screw length. The causes of thread connection failure and leakage are analyzed. The technical method to improve the reliability and sealing of threaded connection is put forward to provide reference for the technical level of oil and gas pipe fittings in the field. The threads that need to be removed several times are recommended that the top and bottom should be excessively matched; The lower limit of the taper of the internal thread is appropriate to prevent plastic deformation. To improve the sealing performance of pipe threads, the screwing length should be within the upper limit of the standard requirements.
