The Well Completion Processes of Highly Deviated Ultra-deep Well in Altun Piedmont in Qaidam Basin

摘要

The Altun Piedmont in the Qaidam Basin belongs to ultra-deep, ultra-high pressure, and ultra-high temperature bedrock gas reservoirs. In recent years, two well completion technologies, combined testing and perforating technology-completion and perforation-completion, have been applied in this area. After evaluation and comparison, the two completion technologies have problems such as wellbore plugging, string sand burial, and limited stimulation methods. In order to achieve geological goals and maximize reservoir stimulation, research on casing fracturing-well completion technology was carried out, and key technologies for this completion process were configured. It has been proved by field construction that this process can realize large-scale fracturing and avoid problems such as wellbore plugging and pipe string sand burial, and can meet the technical requirements for production increase and well completion.
