Exploration of Precise Guidance Technology for Thin Reservoir In The West of The Right Bank of The Amu Darya River

The right bank of the Amu Darya River is rich in natural gas resources and has huge development potential. At present, the main development block is the central and eastern part. With the development process, the recoverable reserves are decreasing year by year. The Baker Hughes Auto Trak rotary steerable tool was selected to address the drilling engineering challenges facing the development of thin reservoirs in the West. The research shows that the drilling method using conventional inclined tool combined with rotary steerable tool can effectively improve the control accuracy of well trajectory and improve the effective drilling rate of reservoir. A set of drilling assembly suitable for the thin reservoir is formed, which provides reliable engineering technical support for the safe and efficient development of gas fields.
