Effect of Graphene on Properties of Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber at High Temperature and Drilling Fluid
摘要
Hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) is widely used in oil drilling field because of its high temperature and oil resistance, but its heat oxygen aging resistance and high temperature drilling fluid resistance need to be improved. Five kinds of rubber samples were prepared by adding different amounts of graphene (GE) to HNBR. The results of scanning electron microscopy(SEM) showed that the dispersion of GE in HNBR was better when less than 4 phr (parts per hundreds of rubber) of GE were added. The analysis of mechanical properties showed that the formula containing 4 phr GE had excellent comprehensive properties and the best comprehensive anti-aging performance after thermal oxygen aging and drilling fluid immersion. This study provided data support for the optimal design of HNBR.
