Securing the Cloud: An In-Depth Analysis of IoT Integration

This paper provides the current scenario about the security and privacy concerns related to integration of cloud and Internet of Things (IoT). As the quantity of Internet-associating devices is expanding powerfully, the security and privacy concerns are obstructing the widespread practice or usage of IoT. Security of IoT devices is of a major concern for its users and the organization handling the functionality of the devices. As it is known fact that attacks cannot be fully prevented, the application of Intrusion Detection System (IDS) in Cloud-IoT may help the system to defend from the security issues in an implied manner. In this paper, an IDS that utilizes the AI algorithms for the recognition of security issues in cloud-based IoT system is of the prime core interest. This system not only provides security but additionally gives the component of interoperability between different system correspondence conventions utilized in IoT; this is only because of the feature of heterogeneity. This article gives an idea about the framework of the IDS integrated with IoT.
