Blockchain-Based IoT: A Comprehensive Review of Technology Integration, Security, and Scalability
摘要
The Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem has a number of obstacles, including security of data, trust, and scalability. One potential remedy for these problems is the IoT’s incorporation of blockchain technology. The usage of blockchain in IoT applications is thoroughly reviewed in this article, with an emphasis on scalability, security, and technology integration. The introduction to the paper discusses alternative architectural models, consensus techniques, and data management strategies as they relate to blockchain integration with Internet of Things networks and devices. By providing a holistic view of blockchain-based IoT, the purpose of this review is to promote a deeper comprehension of the current state, advancements, and potential paths ahead in this rapidly evolving field. It looks at the advantages and difficulties of using blockchain in IoT environments, such as interoperability, resource limitations, and latency problems. The second section looks into the IoT systems’ security implications for blockchain technology. It provides an analysis of how blockchain improves data security, privacy, and authentication in IoT applications.
