摘要

A “circular economy” is an idea that many people have floated to maintain economic growth without causing harm to ecosystems or using up nonrenewable resources. The remanufacturing process extends the time a product or component may be used effectively. Even though it benefits the economy, the environment, and society, remanufacturing has to be improved in terms of supply, production time, and quality. In addition, a typical reference list can only include a certain number of patented materials, but it is still possible to review the relevant published work. This study utilises the PLR and TRIZ methods (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving). TRIZ is a method that examines the progression of technical advances for patterns and anomalies to come up with novel ideas. TRIZ in the patent literature review (PLR) has the potential to foster invention by methodically searching the patent library for novel concepts and improvements. Refurbishing a device with a patent on it allowed the present case study to demonstrate the potential of circular economies and remanufacturing practices in facilitating sustainable energy and environmental cleanliness.
