Reviewing the Role of Counterfeit Medicines in the Healthcare Sector: An Engineering Perspective
摘要
Counterfeit medicines pose a serious threat to public health and safety, requiring a multidisciplinary approach to address this global challenge. This research manuscript explores the role of engineering in combating the proliferation of counterfeit medicines within the healthcare sector. By examining the various aspects of counterfeit medicines from an engineering perspective, this study aims to shed light on the innovative technologies, systems, and strategies developed to mitigate the risks associated with counterfeit medicines. The manuscript discusses the engineering solutions applied to manufacturing processes, packaging and labeling, supply chain management, and detection methods to safeguard patient well-being and ensure the authenticity and quality of medications.
