Quarantine Approach to Defend Against Malicious Codes in a Traditional Antivirus Computer Network

Here, we create an epidemic model that works with conventional antivirus defence to stop dangerous code propagation. Using the fundamental reproduction number R0, we also examined the stability of the epidemic model at the equilibrium points. As we demonstrate, the infection persists if R0 > 1 and the malicious codes disappear if R0 < 1. We solve and simulate the model using MATLAB in order to analyze the behaviour of harmful codes as they spread over a computer network.
