Intraocular Pressure
摘要
Intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement is essential for diagnosing and managing glaucoma. The Goldmann applanation tonometer (GAT) is the current gold standard for measuring IOP, although several newer technologies are currently available for IOP measurement [1–4]. Some new IOP measurement technologies and devices include dynamic contour tonometry (DCT), ocular response analyzer (ORA), Pascal dynamic contour tonometer (DCT-Pascal), rebound tonometry, Tono-Pen Avia, and the Bioresonator applanation resonance tonometer (ART). This chapter will describe the GAT and the newer devices used for IOP measurement.
