Integration of Communication Between EV and EVSE Based on ISO 15118 with an OBD-II System
摘要
Electric vehicles (EVs) can contribute to the stabilization of the power grid and the integration of renewable energy into the grid. Smart charging programs can adapt charging power according to energy supply and grid conditions. Communication between the Electric Vehicle Communication Controller (EVCC) and the Supply Equipment Communication Controller (SECC) is essential for electric vehicle (EV) charging and energy management optimization. The ISO 15118 communication protocol is used for EVCC-SECC communication, which enables bi-directional communication between the EV and the charging system, as well as intelligent charging and energy management. In this scientific paper, we present the integration of ISO 15118-based EVCC-SECC communication with an electronic vehicle controller (ECU) simulator and an OBD-II on-board diagnostic system.
