摘要

The paper addresses the issue of regulating a DC-DC cascade boost converter, which increases the input voltage. The focus is on achieving two main control objectives: the objective is to stabilize the closed-loop system while maintaining a constant DC input voltage at its desired value. However, achieving this goal is challenging due to the nonlinear model and the no-minimum phase characteristics of the cascade-boost converter; the paper proposes a nonlinear approach and a super-twisting algorithm sliding mode control technique (STA-SMC). The proposed controller is evaluated through simulation and experimental validation, and the results show that it effectively achieves the stated objectives. Overall, the paper provides a valuable contribution to the field of power electronics and control engineering, particularly in the design and implementation of control systems for DC-DC converters.
