摘要

Faced with the economic, environmental and energy challenges experienced by the world recently, particularly the increase in the price of fossil fuels and the consciousness of their negative impact on the environment, hybrid energy systems based on renewable energy have become essential solutions, which are experiencing day to day improvements and innovations in terms of intelligence, resilience and respect for the environment. In this study, we will propose a hybrid architecture system that integrates renewable energy resources: Solar and wind. We will consider the environmental impact of the whole system, and we will consider a residential load in Oualidia city located in Morocco Atlantic coast as case study. The model was designed using HOMER grid based on advanced controls. It was concluded that the optimal configuration has 17% return of investment. The results showed that with a higher renewable fraction exceeding 80%, the hybrid system can reduce more than 1200 kg of CO2 emission annually. The carbon limit introduced in this study enhances the environmental aspect, justifies the technical feasibility with an appropriate economic cost and encourage increased investment in renewable energy projects.
