摘要

The potential of wireless charging technology is recognized as it provides numerous benefits over conventional conductive charging systems. The design of the coupling pad plays a vital role in ensuring efficient power transfer in EV wireless chargers and must consider high coupling and tolerance to coil misalignment. This paper presents the optimization of circular pad design to achieve maximum efficiency and compares various combinations for efficient transfer and minimal sensitivity to misalignment. The study explores the impact of horizontal offset and coil misalignment on system coupling and investigates the optimal positions and dimensions of the ferrite core for better flux guiding. Additionally, the study evaluates how various core parameters affect the coupling coefficient.
