Investigation of Hull Design with Regression Method to Optimize the Hydrodynamic Performance of Patrol Boat

Indonesia is one of the largest maritime countries in the world. As an archipelago, security aspects are vital to overcoming various threats in the marine sector. One is patrol boats; Indonesia needs efficient patrol boats to monitor all Indonesian territory. Our research aims to evaluate design methods based on hydrodynamicHydrodynamic characteristics to obtain primary dimensions and optimal hull shape. From the simulations that have been carried out, the regression results have a better hydrodynamicHydrodynamic value and are similar to reference ships.
