The Role of Kinetic Reynolds Number for Thermoacoustic Analysis
摘要
The green technologies are being developed around the world and one of the promising technologies is the thermoacousticThermoacoustic system. ThermoacousticThermoacoustic system contains inert gas as working fluid and uses acoustic energyEnergy and thermal energyEnergy conversions with very minimal use of moving parts. This paper reports the experimental study of the role of the kinetic ReynoldsReynolds number \({Re}_{\omega }\) for thermoacousticThermoacoustic analysis. Dimensionless numbers for oscillatory flow of thermoacousticsThermoacoustic were identified and used for analysis of heat transfer across a staggered tube banks that was heated to 40 °C and then tested under two different flow frequencies of 14.2 Hz and 23.6 Hz. Results indicate that the kinetic ReynoldsReynolds number \(Re_{\omega }\) reveals the impactImpact of flow frequency on heat transfer inside thermoacousticThermoacoustic systems.
