摘要

The sandwich construction consists of a middle core separating the two skins. In the building industry, structures are used as external walls, partition walls, frames, floors, roofs, and frames. The structure was chosen because it is lightweightLightweight and can be a substitute for conventional wall materials, which are relatively heavy. The core contributes to the light property. Polyurethane is one of the materials that can be used as a core material. In this study, polyurethane was combined with styrofoam which has a low density and good heat-insulating properties. Styrofoam volume fraction varied by 50, 60, and 70%. Core making was done by mixing styrofoam and polyurethane manually. Next, the mixture is poured into wood molding and was molded at a pressurePressure of 500 Psi. The results showed that adding 50% styrofoam volume fraction was the highest bendingBending strength. On the other hand, increasing the volume fraction of styrofoam causes a decrease in flexural strength.
