摘要

PhotovoltaicPhotovoltaic (PV) solarSolar cells may be actively cooled using photovoltaicPhotovoltaic thermal collectors (PVT). This technique involves mounting a collector underneath the solarSolar cell. Using the power of a water pump, the fluid is pumped. The collector design is the most crucial component of a solarSolar collector system or PVT system. Based on the collector design that has been discovered, it is clear that more research is needed in this area to examine the impactImpact of PVT systems with collectors that use fins on system performance. Utilizing Solidworks Flow Simulation, a computational fluid dynamics research was used to run the direct flow PVT system simulation. The PV temperature and output fluid were measured on collectors with and without fins; the input fluid’s mass flow rate was 0.01 kg/s, while the ambient temperature and inlet fluid’s temperature were both 298 K. It was discovered that lowering the PV temperature required lowering the fluid’s mass flow rate and installing a collector with fins. At a mass flow rate of 0.05 kg/s, the best electrical efficiency is 11.35%, whereas the highest thermal efficiency is 69.37%.
