摘要

SolarSolar energyEnergy is a significant renewable energyEnergy source and has great potential to replace fossil energyEnergy in power generation. Although photovoltaicPhotovoltaic (PV) panel technology has progressed rapidly, PV panels have the disadvantage of being less optimal in absorbing the intensity of solarSolar radiationRadiation which will have an impactImpact on the output power and efficiency of PV panels. To overcome this, the use of reflectors as a method of concentrated solarSolar radiationRadiation has become a promising solution. This study aims to investigate the effect of adding reflectors on PV panel performance through experimental and simulation approaches. The design configuration, angle, and number of reflectors used are evaluated to achieve optimal PV panel performance. In addition, the effectiveness of different reflective materials was also analyzed to determine the effect of reflector materials in distributing solarSolar radiationRadiation. The results showed that the addition of reflectors to PV panels can increase the distribution of solarSolar radiationRadiation received, thereby increasing short-circuit currents that have an impactImpact on the output power and efficiency of PV panels. The tilt angle and design configuration of the reflector affect the amount of sunlight that can be reflected onto the PV panel. The results also showed that the selection of appropriate reflective materials can improve the collection of solarSolar radiationRadiation.
