The sun is the primary source of inexhaustible energyEnergy for the Earth. Currently, technology is used to generate electrical or thermal energyEnergy by harvesting solarSolar energyEnergy. PhotovoltaicPhotovoltaic (PV) technology uses PV cells to convert solarSolar radiationRadiation into electrical energyEnergy. Technology Thermosyphon is a solarSolar system device that produces thermal energyEnergy. The combination of these two systems forms a thermosyphon-photovoltaicPhotovoltaic hybridHybrid solarSolar system that can simultaneously provide electricity and heat, thereby achieving a higher conversion rate of absorbed and converted solarSolar radiationRadiation. This article reviews the effectiveness of a thermosyphon-photovoltaicPhotovoltaic hybridHybrid system by mapping and identifying gaps in research in the last five years. In addition, a review of the latest research themes can be found. Data analysis was carried out using the VOSviewer and Using R programs. All research data was obtained from the Scopus database and exported in CSV form. From the analysis, it can be seen that popular nanofluids are used in the thermosyphon PV hybridHybrid system. Furthermore, phase change materials have started to be used recently in Thermosyphon PV hybridHybrid systems.
