摘要

The level of electricity demand is increasing along with technological developments and the world's population, so energyEnergy has become a basic need for humans, and there needs to be a balance between the use of electricity and the optimization of electricity generation. An exergy efficiency analysis must identify how much exergy destruction is in the turbineTurbine. Exergy is a parameter that indicates how much the difference between actual and ideal conditions a system is. This research aims to analyze the exergy efficiency to determine how much the exergy losses are in the turbineTurbine used by the steam power plant. The study was conducted at the actual load for a day using exergy efficiency analysis calculations and compared with the simulation results using the Cycle-Tempo software. The results of this study indicate that the exergy efficiency increases as the actual load increases. This study occurs due to the temperature and steam pressurePressure increasing as a form of the system response to adjust the generatorGenerator. The growth and decrease in steam heat are not very significant. As a result, the exergy destruction changes tend to be negligible during observations. The highest efficiency is around 71%, while the lowest is 61.9%. The exergy destruction is 4.65 MW at a 9.3 MW load. The efficiency value is relatively low compared to turbinesTurbine in other steam power plants, with an exergy efficiency above 80%.
