Effect of Hardness to Young’s Modulus Ratio on the Additively Manufactured New Polymer Blend (PLA-PCU) with Varying Printing Layer Thickness
摘要
In comparison to pure PLA, the rigidity of the PLA-PCU blend is reduced. Both polymersPolymer are biocompatible and have good mechanical properties. This study analyses the relationship between the novel polymerPolymer blend's Young Modulus ratio and the effect of various printing layer thicknesses. The specimens were created using the FFF printing process, and mechanical testing was done. According to the experiment, the hardnessHardness to Young Modulus Ratio would increase as printing layer thickness increases. Based on the experiment, the trend of the ratio showed an increment with the increase of the layer thickness.
