Experimental Investigation on Effect of Temperature and Cutting Force for CFRP Trimming Using Collaborative Robot
摘要
The use of robotic arm for CFRP trimming has been great dominated by high payload robotRobot. Based on literature conducted there are less applications found that utilized collaborative robotRobot for trimming operation especially for CFRP due to stiffness limitation. In this paper an experimental study of trimming using collaborative to robotRobot with different cutting speed and spindle speed is conducted to investigate the parameter effect to cutting force and cutting temperature. A UR10e collaborative robotRobot from Universal RobotRobot is used with cutting speed ranging from 4 to 5 m/s and spindle speed 18,000–24,000 RPM. The data of cutting force and cutting temperature is analysed to decide the machinability trimming with the collaborative robotRobot.
