Challenges and Key Issues in IoT Privacy and Security
摘要
“Internet of Things” (IoT) refers to a system that enables the interconnection of many different types of things and intelligent devices. In order to function, devices connected to the Internet of Things must be able to sense their surroundings, process that information, and then transmit the results. The new Internet of Things (IoT) technology has many applications today, including in the domestic sphere, the medical field, the media, the natural world, the industrial sector, the construction industry, and the provision of essential services like water and electricity. Internet of Things (IoT) technologies differentiate themselves from more conventional computer platforms like desktops, laptops, and mobile phones through the use of embedded devices. Because of the potential for real and virtual worlds to merge and the exchange of sensitive sensor data, security for IoT devices is becoming increasingly crucial. The Internet of Things (IoT) faces a variety of challenges that must be surmounted. They include faulty device upgrades, weak security standards, user illiteracy, and the infamous active device monitoring. Our work aims to address the challenges of IoT security and improve its security so that more benefits can be realized by the growing number of connected devices and services.
