Security in IOT-Enabled Smart Agriculture Systems

The agricultural sector accounts for a substantial portion of the GDP and provides employment, which is among the most important industries that contribute significantly to economic development. Precision agriculture and the Internet of Things (IoT) significantly changed how the agricultural sector operates over the current period. The implementation of such developments depends heavily on data transmission between different farming equipment. Through the investigation of potential attacks and risks, this research seeks to explore the security situations relevant to agriculture. There has been research done on IoT-based simulators for agriculture. The criteria for security were spelled forth based on a proposed architecture for smart agriculture that is irrespective of any core technologies that could be deployed. To obtain this objective, we confer the technology of IoT-based smart ecosystem for agriculture by estimating their framework, and their claim. In addition, we came across the opportunities and trends of IoT claims for precise agriculture and specify the open challenges and issues of IoT in agriculture. We hope that the conclusions of this study will significantly constitute the research strategies and increment of IoT-based resolutions suggesting to enhance quality and productivity. It was also researched how far the industry has progressed in developing IoT-based systems and applications.
