Solution of Combined Economic Emission Dispatch Problem Using Sparrow Search Algorithm

The aim of combined economic/environmental dispatch CEED multi-objective constrained optimization problem, is to arrange electrical power outputs from diverse generation units so that the total cost and emission are minimized while preserving compliance with the relevant constraints, such as generation limits and power balance. To find a solution, this requires efficient optimization methods. The sparrow search algorithm has proven its effectiveness in several areas. In this paper, we will use the SSA to optimize the production cost and the emission of gas for two tests networks, The first one consists of three units system, the second one of a six units system with variable transmission losses and different loads, the results obtained are satisfactory and are compared with other methods where the efficiency of the sparrow search algorithm method has been proven.
