A New Approach of Fault Correction Based on Reconfiguration Topology of Tow Level PWM Inverter

In this work we are demonstrate how to integrate a new fault correction method based on reconfiguration of the PWM inverter topology in association inverter-induction motor drive. The suggested strategies offer automatic correction of open-circuit failures occurring in the IGBT. Diagnosis and correction of open circuit switch fault in Inverter is executed by reconfiguring of the inverter topology after detection and localized the IGBT defected using fuzzy logic inference system (FIS), based on the average absolute values of the normalized line-to-line currents (AAVC). A new approach of fault correction of PWM Inverter is built under MATLAB/SIMULINK. Simulation results are presented the performance of suggested approach under distinct operating mode. Finally, the reliability of the proposed topology is evaluated using the fuzzy logic method.
