Space Data for Culture
摘要
This chapter discusses the intersection between space data and culture, emphasising that space data should serve culture rather than dictate it. It acknowledges the need for convergence of various disciplines, including economic, industrial, technological, academic, cultural, and institutional worlds. Culture is regarded as an essential link in the European civilization value chain, fostering exchanges and shared identity amongst European peoples. It discusses how technology, creativity, and innovation can aid in protecting and utilising cultural heritage. Ultimately, the goal is to achieve a symbiotic relationship between culture and space policy, recognising the significance of culture in shaping our societies and our future.
