Introduction

 Fostering inclusivity in the digitalization of MSMEs is imperative, as given the vast opportunities it presents alongside the potential to accentuate existing disparities. MSMEs are increasingly leveraging digital technology to sustain and expand their markets, integrating it into their business operations and production processes. This book presents research findings on the digital ecosystem of Indonesian MSMEs, aiming to comprehend their digital transformation of MSMEs within the framework of platform capitalism and digital ecosystem. Platform capitalism brings both opportunities and challenges, providing technologies and capital to local platform  companies while potentially dominating the online retail market. Meanwhile, the perspective of the digital ecosystem reveals the interdependence of various factors in promoting the digital transformation of MSMEs, including the role of the government,  supporting companies and the availability of digital talents.
