IoT-Based Anti-theft System with Comprehensive Detection Technologies Using Cybersecurity
摘要
In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has transformed home security systems. This project introduces an advanced IoT-based anti-theft system designed to enhance property protection through a combination of high-resolution video surveillance, biometric identification (facial and iris recognition), piezoelectric sensors, voice recorders, temperature and gas detectors, motion sensors, and infrared sensors for height detection. The system transmits data from these sensors to a central server, where sophisticated algorithms analyze and process the information. Video feeds are examined for unauthorized access using facial recognition, while biometric data is verified against stored profiles. Piezoelectric sensors detect vibrations indicative of forced entry, and voice recorders capture and analyze audio for suspicious sounds. Temperature and gas detectors monitor environmental conditions, alerting to potential hazards like fires or gas leaks, while motion sensors track movements to identify unusual activity. The central server generates real-time alerts and notifications for homeowners and law enforcement via mobile apps or SMS, enabling prompt responses to threats. Rigorous testing ensures the system’s accuracy and reliability, with future enhancements focusing on advanced biometric features, greater system integration, and expanded coverage. This comprehensive IoT-based anti-theft system represents a significant advancement in home security, providing a robust, intelligent solution to protect properties effectively.
