In this article, green communication and its importance concerning the movement of 5G technology toward 6G have been considered for the present scenario. In a 6G scenario where many advanced energy appetite applications are coming due to which wireless networks and user equipment are emitting more CO2, which is not helpful to achieve green communication goals, hence many ways are coming under consideration to achieve 6G green communication. Layer-based heterogeneous model which is proposed in the articles plays a big role in achieving green communication. The energy efficiency of the proposed model is compared with a conventional wireless network model where the proposed model has a larger efficiency which is very helpful in attaining green communication.
