This article provides significant insights into the lives, behaviours, and future intentions of the Iranian Baluch migrating to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, based on data collected uniquely from Baluchi communities in Iran. The study reveals substantial variations in migration motivations influenced by age and gender. These meticulously designed interviews ensure comprehensive exploration of all relevant topics, focusing on individuals with familial ties or personal experiences in the GCC, encompassing both current and potential migrants. The sample includes 20 male and 10 female participants from Sistan-Baluchistan and Hormozgan provinces, capturing a diverse spectrum of perspectives. This paper provides historical information on the Iranian Baluch communities and their migration to the Gulf countries. It analyses the qualitative data through statistical presentation and description of the in-depth conversations about the migration dynamics with participants. We provide a comprehensive view of the Iranian Baluch's migration patterns and highlight the complex interplay between economic, social, and environmental factors driving migration, nuanced by age and gender. The study suggests that policies addressing migration must be multifaceted and sensitive to these diverse motivations, offering a comprehensive view of the Iranian Baluch's migration patterns and the factors influencing their decisions.
