Comparison of Multiple Vibration Reduction Devices for Super-Tall Buildings Under Wind Excitation
摘要
Super high-rise buildings are particularly sensitive to wind loads. Under frequent wind loads, building components are prone to reciprocating vibration. When the vibration reaches a certain limit, people in the building will experience discomfort symptoms such as dizziness and nausea. Moreover, the reciprocating vibration of building components can easily cause fatigue damage. Therefore, research on wind vibration control of super high-rise buildings is particularly important. Tuned mass dampers (TMD), tuned liquid dampers (TLD), and viscous dampers (FVD) are commonly used wind vibration control devices in super tall buildings. They control the structural dynamic response through energy dissipation devices, improve the comfort and service function quality of super tall buildings, and enhance the safety performance of high-rise structures. This article focuses on a 396 m super high-rise project and studies three wind vibration control system schemes: FVD, TMD, and TLD. A comparative analysis is conducted from six dimensions: building function, engineering cost, vibration reduction performance, construction and installation, operation and maintenance, and engineering application. The wind vibration control performance is comprehensively compared with actual projects.
