The structural system of multi-petal supertall buildings consists of interconnected tower petals and coupling trusses. Given the lengthy construction period of supertall buildings, it is essential to consider the possibility of multi-state construction. The multi-state construction is mainly reflected in the structural deformation and its impact on the internal forces of structural components under different key construction processes. The structural deformation is mainly generated by elastic compression and long-term effects. This article takes Suzhou China overseas supertall tower as the engineering case and uses the B3 model to simulate shrinkage and creep, exploring the impact of key construction processes such as the advanced construction of the core tube and the asynchronous construction of petals, including deformation differences in vertical components and changes in the internal forces of coupling trusses.
