Millimeter-wave imaging is attractive as an indirect inspection technique for security solutions due to its ability to penetrate common cloth, leather, plastic, and paper to detect concealed objects without harm. This paper reports experimental results of 2- and 3-dimensional imaging results utilizing the millimeter-wave interference integration technique and a dielectric lens. Spatial filtering techniques of measured images are also discussed.

摘要

Millimeter-wave imaging is attractive as an indirect inspection technique for security solutions due to its ability to penetrate common cloth, leather, plastic, and paper to detect concealed objects without harm. This paper reports experimental results of 2- and 3-dimensional imaging results utilizing the millimeter-wave interference integration technique and a dielectric lens. Spatial filtering techniques of measured images are also discussed.
