A Software-Centric Approach to Heart Disease Monitoring and Early Detection
摘要
Stress significantly impacts health, especially heart-related conditions like heart attacks, in today's fast-paced world. Factors such as obesity, pre-diabetes, and stress increase these risks. Effective stress detection and management are essential. Our research focuses on developing a smart wearable stress detection band using Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) sensors. It also includes the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) for comprehensive stress evaluation. The band’s software monitors stress levels and provides personalized recommendations like exercise, meditation, and a balanced diet. In critical cases, users can access medical consultations through an intuitive interface. The system can detect early signs of heart attacks caused by stress and notify medical professionals and family members promptly. This ensures early diagnosis and timely treatment, improving overall health and extending life expectancy. The initiative promotes a healthier lifestyle and enhances well-being through proactive stress management.
