Schizophrenia is undoubtedly the most intriguing as well as disabling mental ill health condition. The vividity of its symptoms across diagnosed patients which is somehow due to unique psychosocial and biological predisposition of the individual makes schizophrenia a complex illness to understand. The present chapter gives a brief background about schizophrenia, and how Artificial Intelligence (AI) may be used in its management. We discuss the use of AI in its diagnosis, including implications in the prodrome phase. Further specific implications in terms of AI-augmented psychoeducation, cognitive retraining and role in relapse prevention are discussed.
