Data is often termed as the ‘new gold’. As Artificial Intelligence (AI) rises in prominence, it essentially feeds on data. This brings an equally important and challenging task of its ethical management and safeguard. There are chances, rather evidences where AI can also make some errors and be biased. The present chapter highlights on the issues of ethical management of data and algorithm bias. We further discuss on transparency in the data management process, security aspects as well as intellectual property. Existing guidelines and legal provisions and acts at present are also discussed.
