Optimizing Rural Healthcare Monitoring Using MANET: A Comparative Analysis of AODV, DSDV, DYMO, and OSLR
摘要
The problem of poor availability of health facilities in rural regions is solved in this project through the construction of Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) to overcome these problems to monitor and diagnose patients via a wireless connection. It supports the exchange of medical information in a more secure manner and its real-time surveillance by smart devices even in areas of low connectivity. Subsequently, a comparison of the various routing protocols such as AODV, DSDV, DYMO, and OSLR is undertaken as a means of determining the best protocol suited to this application. The efficiency of route selection, scalability and reliability for each protocol is assessed in the context of mobile environments. In the evaluation with key metrics such as Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), throughput, End-to-End Delay (ms), we evaluate the performance of the system. By measuring the data transmission speed, reliability, and power efficiency, these metrics allow you to know the best protocol in terms of these same values. The contributions of these research findings provide a means toward providing health care accessibility in rural regions through enhancing equity, uniformity, and competency with regard to health care services approached equally.
