Tanimoto Pythagorean Fuzzy TODIM Approach for Supplier Selection Problems: A Business Intelligence Perspective
摘要
In the present data-driven world, the importance of business intelligence (BI) in securing a competitive advantage is paramount. Suppliers with advanced BI capabilities can significantly enhance the performance and competitiveness of organizations they work with. A decision-making framework can systematically evaluate suppliers’ BI capabilities and therefore aid the organizations in achieving a competitive edge in their industries. The present work proposed a novel decision-support system to evaluate the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle suppliers based on their business intelligence capabilities. The proposed decision-support system is called Tanimoto Pythagorean Fuzzy TOmada de Decisao Interativa Multicriterio (TODIM) approach wherein the uncertain and unclear data from the experts is modelled using Pythagorean fuzzy sets and the information is aggregated using Tanimoto measure. The TODIM approach is then utilized to rank the alternatives. Five suppliers catering to the hydrogen fuel industry have been appraised based on 5 main and 27 subcriteria related to business intelligence capabilities. Supplier 3 emerged as top ranked through the proposed approach. Sensitivity analysis has been done to judge the robustness of the ranking results.
