Assessing Key Challenges in Industry 4.0 Implementation: A Best-Worst Method Approach
摘要
As industrial enterprises seek to integrate Industry 4.0 technology, a study of barriers is critical. Industry 4.0 is relatively new in developing countries, especially India, and requires a deep understanding of its implementation issues and operations. The adoption of Industry 4.0 may assist manufacturing industries in digitalizing their manufacturing processes, resulting in increased production output. However, implementation of Industry 4.0 is difficult due to a variety of barriers. The purpose of this research is to identify critical barriers to the adoption of Industry 4.0 in the manufacturing sector and then analyze the identified issues to determine a ranking for systematic implementation in Indian manufacturing sectors. In this context, 10 problems associated with Industry 4.0 adoption are identified and analyzed using Indian manufacturing industries using the best-worst method (BWM). The difficulties facing India’s manufacturing industry are being examined.
