This chapter consolidates the fundamental challenges regarding conclusions and suggestions of agroecosystems and offers insights derived from the cases presented in the volume. This chapter concentrates on the concepts recorded in this book. We delineate five primary areas of contribution: innovative cropping systems for resilience, augmenting the soybean intercropping system with maize, untraditional approaches to maximize agricultural production, climate change impacts and mitigation, and machine learning use in crop production; in addition the last chapter presents the conclusions and recommendations highlighted by the authors. The conclusions will be based on the authors’ insights into their findings and limitations. This chapter also presents a series of recommendations to guide future research towards innovation aimed at sustaining the agroecosystem for enhanced resilience.
