Super PCR

In addition to being the industry standard for determining nucleic acid levels, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technology is continually being improved. The development of super PCR significantly reduces the reaction time, making up for the cumbersome and expensive equipment needs of conventional PCR technique. In this chapter, we will examine the viability of super PCR using kinetic parameters and examine how PCR cycle times may be shortened by altering the circumstances of chemical reactions and using heat cyclers. Finally, a discussion and future directions are explored regarding the extraction and detection of high-speed PCR technology as well as some ongoing issues with high-speed PCR thermal cyclers. It is anticipated that high-speed PCR technique will advance and improve with time as technology advances, and its application will be more extensive and important.
