Think Like Nature Would
摘要
This chapter explores the transformative potential of adopting nature-inspired mindsets for environmental conservation. It introduces seven Design for Conservation (D4C) mindsets: Honest, Positive, Humble, Systemic, Balanced, Cyclic, and Relative, as guiding principles that align human action with natural systems. Grounded in empathy, iterative thinking, and participation, these mindsets help shift away from extractive, technocratic models toward regenerative, relational approaches. By embodying values such as humility, adaptability, and interdependence, D4C encourages individuals and teams to design not against but with nature.
