This paper presents a high-performance on-chip coupled inductor design which not only provides 34.89 % higher inductance values, but also has 18 % higher Quality factor (Q factor) than the other state-of-the-art on-chip inductor designs. The proposed design consists of four coupled inductors connected in series and placed innovatively, resulting in maximum mutual coupling and minimum negative coupling. The proposed design occupies merely \(100\ {\mu }{\text {m}}\ {\text {X}}\ 100\ {\mu }{\text {m}}\) of chip area and a significant improvement of in Self-Resonant frequency is achieved. The proposed inductor works satisfactorily for a wide range of frequencies from 1 to 12.5 GHz.
