Polymer composite materials are lightweight and versatile and have outstanding mechanical qualities. These materials have attracted a lot of interest in a variety of industrial applications. As sustainability and environmental friendliness gain traction of composite materials made by natural fiber reinforcements, natural resource usage in composite manufacturing processes is becoming an interesting area for materials research. The purpose of this chapter is to give a thorough overview of the procedures used in the production of composite materials from natural resources and their use in components of industrial equipment. The present study focuses on the characterization methods used to evaluate the mechanical performance of these polymer composites. Mechanical properties determine the required applications of developed polymer composites based on the results after experimentation of mechanical tests.
