Agric-Waste as a Source of Innovative and Compostable Composite Biopolymers
摘要
This is an increasing urge to find novel methods to make ecologically friendly materials due to the depletion of natural resources and growing environmental concerns. Numerous studies have focused on agricultural waste management in an attempt to mitigate the environmental problems associated with the disposal of agricultural waste. Large volumes of agricultural waste are produced annually, which is a significant problem from both an economic and environmental perspective. In line with the tenets of the circular economy, these wastes may be used as secondary raw materials to produce value-added goods. The development of sustainable biopolymer-based composites for lightweight applications now depends heavily on the use of natural agricultural wastes. The discovery and use of agricultural wastes to produce biopolymer building blocks that may be combined with natural reinforcements to make sustainable bio composites. There is discussion of common biopolymers obtained from agriculture. The main techniques for creating bio composites are also highlighted in this study, along with possible uses, obstacles, and possibilities in the creation of sustainable biopolymer-based composites using biomass from agricultural waste. It was determined that a viable path to a more ecologically friendly future is the creation of sustainable biopolymer-based composites from agricultural biomass.
