Green Synthesis of Biopolymeric Nanomaterials

Because of their distinctive qualities and wide range of uses in numerous industries, biopolymer-based nanomaterial synthesis has drawn a lot of interest. The topic of green synthesis of biopolymeric nanomaterials is explored in this chapter, with an emphasis on environmentally friendly methods that enhance material biocompatibility while also lowering environmental impact. Biopolymers—buildable blocks of nanomaterials with properties including biodegradability, low toxicity, and intrinsic activity—come from natural sources such as proteins, polysaccharides, and nucleic acids. Green synthesis techniques produce biopolymeric nanomaterials with precise size, shape, and properties by utilizing eco-friendly methods such as renewable resources, non-toxic solvents, and energy-efficient procedures. The revolutionary potential of these materials in drug delivery, tissue engineering, water purification, and other fields is demonstrated by applications in biomedicine, the environment, and industry.
